Paris: City of Romance

before starting this, i sincerely apologize to anyone out there who will be reading this.

I'm sorry. i know you will hate me for talking bad about your dream place.

As far as i know, almost everyone around me loves Paris. no matter under what circumstances, people will usually have an impression that Paris is a place which is very romantic and pretty.

my sis and cousins are so fond of the Eiffel phone covers, accessories and all those girl stuffs, you name them. 

i have no doubt about the 'prettiness' of the tower, however, to be honest, Eiffel is just a tower. 

or if you prefer, a STEEL tower. 

there is nothing very special about it which will make you relating it to the word romance. 

what we all know about Paris since we were still little kids : symbol of romance, most beautiful place in the word etc is a result of the media/fashion/magazine over-reporting it (well, at least for me, it is like this)

trust me, after you pay a visit to the actual place where Paris is just right in front of your eyes, you will have the same thoughts as mine now. 

i dont know whether if im biased by the fact that my whole backpack was stolen at Paris, the so-called City of Romance? (urggghhh) so now that incident make me feel that visiting Paris is not fun at all. (u cant blame me for that, blame the thief!)

but still, Paris is one of the cities full of awesome culture. it has an extremely nice and well-planned building, Eiffel Tower serving as an iconic landmark for the city. however, City of Romance? i cant see the way to link them together.
